I live in Los Angeles and I've been watching this horror unfold. My own house burned down in the 1977 Sycamore Canyon fire in Santa Barbara, when I was living at home, going to UCSB; so I can relate to the anguish of losing everything but the clothes you're wearing. I've been there.
